Owen Roberts International Airport is located in George Town, Grand Cayman. This is the main airport where all international flights arrive. Our sister island of Cayman Brac also has its own airport, "Gerrard Smith International Airport". These two airports serve as main ports of entry for visitors arriving by air. Little Cayman Airport is served by daily inter-island flights offered by Cayman Airways Express.
There are more than 55 weekly flights into George Town, including 28 flights each week between Miami and Grand Cayman with connections to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Direct non-stop service from Miami is provided by Cayman Airways and American Airlines.
Inter-island service between Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman is provided by Cayman Airways. Cayman Airways provides daily jet service to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman is served by Cayman Express. Please note that although still mentioned by other online travel guides, Island Air does not provide any flights to Little Cayman or Cayman Brac.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) has a Visitor Information booth in the Customs Hall of the Owen Roberts International Airport. The Visitor Information booth is fully stocked with the latest tourist publications, brochures and other information visitors may need during a vacation. When you arrive, taxis and car rental agents will be available just outside the airport arrival area. When departing, allow for traffic delays and arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure flight.
